Septimus is;

SEPTIMUS is a multi-talented family Quintet originating in Seattle, Washington. The name Septimus is from their grandfather Septimus Brown. The band has been together for over 15 years and has composed over 70 songs. Their broad and exciting repertoire includes Jazz, Blues, R&B, Funk and Reggae styles. Frank and Coleman are responsible for arranging and composing much of the SEPTIMUS material. There seems to be a special magic when these two write together.

Frank Brown, an exciting and energizing "front man", is lead vocalist and keyboardist.

Coleman Brown, lead guitarist, plays with the blazing style reminiscent of Seattle's Jimi Hendrix.

Herman Brown, guitarist, has recorded for several major record companies including Capitol, Motown, Solar (RCA) and Cassablanca.

Ronald Fortson, bassist and vocalist, rounds out the SEPTIMUS sound. His rendition of Hendrex's HeyJoe" (on their first Cassette "Everythang") displays Ron's soulfully excellent voice.

Leon Campbell, drummer and percussionist , born and raised in the Northwest , has spent a lifetime developing his funky style of drumming. He has travelled from Los Angeles to Alaska playing a variety and styles of music.

It is obvious from watching SEPTIMUS that their excellent professional relationship is strengthened by their already tight family bonds. Together they produce some of the best music the world has to offer. Listen to Mr. Reggae Man, by Septimus, on Seattle Peace Concerts' Compilation Album, "Peace by Peace"
