22-year-old Ryan Harder has been making a name for himself in
the Peugeot sound music scene over the last couple of years, playing acoustic
traditional delta blues and original tunes. His slide guitar and technical
playing style has landed him spots opening for national touring acts such
as, Austin Texas' Carrolyn Wonderland, Blind Pig artists, The Lloyd Jones
Struggle, and Alligator Records' Mourice John Vaughan. Ryan's mission is
to give credit where credit is due when performing blues music. History
lessons are always a part of his shows, enlightening audiences about some
of the most influential performers in blues history. Ryan has been invited
back for the third year in a row to perform at Tacoma's Old Town Blues Festival
as well as a host of other venues for the summer. He is currently a student
at Western Washington University, studying history and education where he
hopes to teach in public schools.
