Harvey Swanson has been playing campfires and kitchens for the past 30 years. He's a regular at the Eastern Washington Barter Fair and occasionally plays in clubs and festivals around Seattle such as the Seattle Peace Concerts, Folk Life Festival, Blue Moon Tavern, Rainbow, OK Hotel, Raindancer, Velvet Elvis and the Weathered Wall.

As a freelance artist, sign painter, furniture builder, garlic and herb farmer in the highlands of Okanogan County in Northern Central Washington, his influences have been Bob Dylan, Groucho Marx and John Lennon.

His music is neo-traditional Americana songs ranging from hard-edged folk rock to country and blues. They are lyrical and melodic mindscapes about personal and social perceptions.

The Only for the Moment Band consists of a revolving cast of the Northwest's finest musicians including the likes of RTC, Colman Brown, Carolyn Curuso, Shannon Rossi, Harpo and more.
